Misc. Artifacts - Lafayette Flying Service Certificate

Here is the commemorative certificate issued to the members of the Lafayette Flying Corps at the end of the war. Note the detailed battlefield illustrations in the borders and margins. General Lafayette appears on the left side and American General George Washington appears on the right.

Please note that while Haviland was listed as No. 15 on this certificate, he was the 16th member of the Lafayette Escadrille.
