(Cmdr. Haviland was a representative of the Fleischmann Division of Standard Brands between WW-I and WW-II. Here is a reproduction of The Fleischmann Spirit, August, 1943, honoring Fleischmann employees involved in the war effort. (Fleischmann produced distilled spirits, ergo the play on words.)
