Top & Bottom - Nieuport 15 metre trainer.
"15 metre" referred to the wing surface, although in actuality the surface was nearer 18 square metres. These trainers were Type 81 or 183, the difference being in slant of the interplane "V" struts. W.B. Haviland is posing with the aircraft in both pictures.
